Healing Artist Professional Statement
After Graduating from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art, I felt like something was still missing in my life. I began practicing daily yoga and started looking at how to use the healing arts in my own life. This commitment to a healthy and more centered lifestyle was the missing piece for me in finding balance.
To further my endeavors within the healing arts, I started Massage Therapy school in May 2014, fell in love with the practice and graduated school in May of 2015. With my background in fine arts, exploring the creative mind of therapeutic massage, as well as my own personal dedication to health and well being, Massage Therapy was a perfect fit. I have found a way to express myself, while working with others to achieve balance and wellness through the art of healing.
I feel that the balance between my fine arts practice and the study of healing arts on the human body has prepared me for goals in furthering my career as a Tattoo Artist. I started my Tattoo career at Ace Tattoo in Thornton in 2000 till 2003 with a hiatus to further my education. I started a second apprenticeship at Ananda Art and Tattoo in 2017 Completed in 2018 and been living and loving in the Tattoo World ever since!
